THURSDAY - FRIDAY October 5-6th

Departures with flights from the Nordics. SATURDAY October 7th

Saturday starts with 2 options. 1. Join the China Social Innovation Forum: Building Bridges with Global Innovators at Impact Hub San Francisco. Nordic Impact Week is partnering and Nordic participants get a good deal on tickets. This day you will also get know the organizers and the participants, settle smoothly in San Francisco and start preparing for exciting coming week.


SUNDAY 8th of October

Main welcoming day to San Francisco. Introductions and presentations of participants and experts, exceptions and practical questions and Q&A session. Trends in San Francisco and it’s neighbourhood with David Hodgson: Social Innovation, Smart city development & Impact investment. City developers and mayors session: Political leadership, competence & capacity building. At dinner time we will be accompanied by a special guest.

MONDAY 9th of October

Leadership for Glocal Impact day 9.30am – 2.30pm, Oakland. Classic Stanford Oval group photo, Wallenberg Hall, Anne Lidgard, Director Vinnova. Breakfast and Press-Release at NORDIC INNOVATION HOUSE. ”Special presentation” by the Institute for the Future Palo Alto. Presentations and discussion at The Institute for Future. TESLA FACTORY TOUR & POWERWALL INTRODUCTION, Peter Carlsson, VP for Supply Chain. Departure around 5.30pm back to San Francisco – With Nordic Impact Forum Dinner.


TUESDAY 10th of October

‘A Sharing City – the Oakland Way’. Sharing City the Oakland Way is a full day with presentations, networking and touring in how to build an inclusive participatory ecosystem of actors committed to build just, sustainable, and flourishing communities, regions and cities. Morning Sessions: New Leadership for Systemic Sustainability (Institute for Evolutionary Leadership & Saybrook University), Community Hacking the New Economy (Uptima Business Bootcamp & BayBucks), City Planning for Social Innovation (the City of Oakland & Oakland Central), The Heart of Oakland and Why It Matters (Deepculture & 21st Century Narrative). Afternoon Session: ‘San Leandro Innovation Tour’. (Tuesday evening could be a good day to arrive for those of you who would like to stay a shorter time and only would like to participate in the SOCAP17 conference.)


WEDNESDAY 11th of October

SOCAP17 Day 1 and Exclusive Nordic Networking Event. On Wednesday there will be a ‘check in’ and breakfast 8.00 am at Forth Mason. We will guide and invite you to the Impact Crowd and recommend different sessions in the program. Meetup – 1230 at the Main Pavillion. Late afternoon session ‘Impact Measurement and Valuation’. A session with leading experts in the field. Free time at the Hotel. Nordic Impact Evening: Networking Event with exclusively invited guests.


THURSDAY 12th of October

SOCAP15 Day 2. Check in and breakfast 8.00 am at Forth Mason. Meetup 12.30 at the Main Pavillion. Late afternoon session: ‘City Impact Investing’ – Financial vehicles and methods for making your city/region more sustainable, a session with leading experts. Free Time at the Hotel. The SoCap Party!


FRIDAY 13th of October

‘Smart City Innovation and CleanTech Day’. We will start at 10.00 am and focus on development of Sustainable Innovations and Digital Technology Regenerative Cities, regions and rural areas.  #Smart Water #Renewable Energy #City Innovation. Global Wellbeing Lab – City Pilot – Espoo, Berkeley. Afternoon: Singularity University with GOOGLE and FACEBOOK visits. Evening Dinner with special guest.
